Goals

I read the autobiography of Nobel Prize winner Amartya Sen last night.

I was fascinated that it is experiencing and witnessing great suffering that motivated him to formulate his theories.

He also had a strong academic background and had been involved in scholarly work at a very young age.

I want to be like him.

I also remembered my poorly written thesis on John Rawls’ a Theory of Justice and I am thinking of rewriting or more appropriately write a more compelling an sharper reaction to John Rawls’ tome.

Finally some clarity.

I want to be a lawyer engaged in litigation.

I will also teach.

I will do academic research and formulate theories focused of politics and economics.

I want to win the lotto before the end of the year. I want approximately 500,000.00

Improve my skill in writing legal documents.

Read more cases.

Read the law.

Draft documents

The first time I took the bar no one asked me what would I specialized in if I passed.

But recently two people askedĀ  me what kind of lawyer would I like to be.

Specialization is something that confuses me.

Let me deal with what kind of lawyer would I like to be.

1. I want to be a lawyer that follows the Code of Professional Responsibility to a tee meaning opening an account for client’s money and no bribing the judge.

2. I want to be a very patient lawyer meaning I will explain to the client what his case is all about and what will we be doing.

3. I want to be a very very very intelligent lawyer and an exemplary strategist.

4. I want to be a bombshell lawyer.

General Practitioner First but definitely a litigator.

One day I will build a house. And I will live there with my husband and six kids. The house will have a huge ground with a 1 km track oval, a tennis court, a basketball court, huge organic garden of vegetables, an orchard of fruit bearing trees like pomelo, guavas, magoes, durians, jackfruit and papaya.

The inside of the house will have a meditation room, a gym, a game room, a cinema, a chapel, 8 sleeping quarters, a library, a sauna, a huge masters bedroom, a well equipped kitchen, a dining room, storage room, pantry and an entertainment center.

My husband will be a very good, loving and ambitious person. We will have healthy, intelligent, driven, good looking and kind kids. And I will be a very calm, successful, healthy, kind and loving person.

I am giving myself five years to be able to achieve the following:
